Work Summary

Hi i'm Yvette

My Interests lie in web standards, accessibility, usability, writing for the web and improving the web experience for everyone. My mission is to ensure that websites are findable, usable and used. I have a special interest in user centred design, digital marketing, social networking, search engine optimisation and internet marketing.

Personal interests are reflected in my start up company www.webyogi.co.uk. I cater for the needs of alternative industries, non for profits and social entrepreneurs.

I am passionate about the potential of css and colour therapy in web design. I am great believer that the internet is about connecting people, communities and communications. I like to reflect on this through meditation and yoga which saves me from rsi and eye strain!

Very nice to connect with you!

My Highlights

I am an experienced web, communications, marketing and public relations consultant. I currently manage Brighton & Hove City Council website and have many years of experience in communications, pr and marketing. I am also a qualified yoga teacher, a big fan of mindfulness meditation, nature, personal development and alternative therapies.

My low lights include working in a pickled onion factory and getting deported from the USA in my decadent youth (it's a long but funny story!)
