Work Summary
I'm a web developer with a broad range of skills in business, IT and education.
I got my technical skills while studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems. I didn't just develop the technical skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP, use of software such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash etc) I also gained knowledge of all the background issues, such as good web design practise, usability, accessibilty, e-commerce design, colour theory, project management etc.
I've since developed several websites for small companies, including an online shop.
But unlike some techies, I have other skills. I originally studied Business Studies, I taught English to Japanese students for 6 years, I have worked in distance learning and developed Virtual Learning Environments.

Most of my clients so far have been start-up companies with little money to spare. I've given them logos, banners, Flash slideshows and a website to their specification at fantastic value.
I also have a 'build-only' service where I can convert a client's own design to standards-compliant website.
I'm currently working on a couple of larger projects.
