Work Summary
I am a freelance journalist and science writer, and a creative editor of other people’s words. As well as science and technology, I write occasionally about current affairs and the arts.
My CV can be found on my personal website:
http://sedgemore.com/cv
and there is a Q&A profile on the blog of the esteemed Norman Geras:

Before my early release from the ivory tower of academe, I was for a decade or so a research scientist and university teacher specialising in space and atmospheric physics. I now concentrate on communicating science at all levels, with a non-exclusive focus on physical sciences and engineering, public outreach, education and policy.
While principally a writer, I am also an editor with experience ranging from research papers and other technical documents to journalistic feature articles and news reports.
Current clients include various science and engineering publishers, governmental and third sector organisations. My services don’t come cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I am known for delivering high-quality work on time.
