Work Summary
I have been a personal assistant to Maria Castilla and Mike Russette from 9/2003 to 1/2008. Maria Castilla works for the LA county, but because of confidential matters I cannot state the exact location unless interviewed directly. I mostly did clerical work setting up appointments, copying, enlarging, and reducing documents. I performed minor editing of work materials in photo shop and publisher. Additionally, there was some light typing. Mike Russette was the owner of a newsletter called "Lunar Review". It was an independent company that had a small number of customers who purchased the magazine for comic reviews. I performed minor editing of photos, typed articles to be published, sorted mail and updated database of public subscriptions. The last project I was working on dealt with translating advertisements into Spanish to draw a more diverse audience. I worked as a temp for St. Joseph Ctr in Venice where I did administrative work such as: answering phones, helping customers and directing them to different programs; I assisted the childcare service program to admit children into free child care services. The assignment for this particular job was from 1/2003-12/2002.
More information will be given during interviewing.

My Highlights
The creation of a 5 week project in which I researched St. Joseph Center in Venice to sociologically understand the interactions between people in organizations that aim to help the community. During my Freshman year in college I anonymously and through a teacher's advise translated the Aquarium of the Pacific animal exhibit information. However, today I believe they use a different updated translation (It was over five years ago). Additionally, I'm proud to be currently working on creating a photograph portfolio that can hopefully be shown either on a website or in my highest of hopes an exhibition.
