About Workology

The world of work is changing and everyone wants to control their working life to fulfil their potential. But we reckon there's a better way to work than the traditional 'nine-to-five'. We know because we've both been there.

We cut our teeth at two of the country's biggest institutions (Sam at Goldman Sachs; Anuj at BBC). We wanted more control over the way we worked, but how and where? No single place addressed all the challenges we faced – and existing solutions were square pegs in round holes.

Instead, we started thinking about Workology. We wanted to develop one place for people to create unique work opportunities to suit their different working styles. A place that would help people control their work online efficiently.

We know it's daunting leaving the security of a company - there's so much advice and support you usually need outside your area of expertise. We believe the best way for people to work their own way is to work together, like 'wikiworking'. Collaboration is at the heart of everything on Workology.

Workology is your site. We'll constantly develop it but we can't do this alone – your feedback, ideas and suggestions are crucial to help Workology evolve successfully. Together, we can create a new way of working.
